The challenge was to create a brand identity that catered to a diverse range of clients while incorporating my love for sports and esports, as well as the modern designs associated with these industries. The brand identity needed to be adaptable and customizable to reflect different client types.
objective
The goal was to design a symbol or character that could be easily transformed or mutated to represent different client categories, allowing for personalization and versatility in the brand identity. This would ensure that my brand could effectively communicate and resonate with various target audiences.
Solution
1. Design a minimalist oni character as the core symbol of your brand identity (since in japanese folklore its said to be a being that often changes its shape), representing my love for sports, esports, and modern design aesthetics. 2. Create a set of design elements or accessories that can be added or modified on the core oni character to reflect different client categories. For sports clients, incorporate sports-related material such as posters, jerseys, social media material, etc. For esports clients, include the same wrote before with the adition of gaming accessories such as headphones, gaming controllers, etc. Adapt the oni character further for other client types by identifying key design elements relevant to their industries or interests. 3. Ensure consistency in branding by maintaining a cohesive design language, color scheme, and stylistic approach across all client mutations. This will establish recognition and a unified brand presence. By implementing this solution, my brand identity effectively communicates and resonates with various client types. The adaptable oni character allows for customization, reflecting the unique characteristics and needs of each client while maintaining a consistent and recognizable brand image.
